Foods

The increasing amount of environmentally friendly productions and products requires stricter hygiene regulations. When you´re swapping a large number of products in the equipment, a refined hygiene design is a must.

An optimal hygienic design enables a safer production and a simpler cleaning process, which equals less discarded products and a more efficient CIP (Clean In Place) process. The shorter the conversion time, the faster you can get on with the next batch.

Hygienic design also affects the traceability. With foods, you must be able to identify and trace every single raw material: In which products they´ve been used and where those products have been sent. Should there be any contamination or miscoloring of products containing allergens that aren´t supposed to be there, you must be able to immediately withdraw the product. A well-executed hygienic design ensures that the process system is cleaned after every use, thus minimizing the risk of contamination.

Processus has a vast amount of experience in the high demands and regulations of the pharmaceutical and food industries, such as GMP, GxP, GAMP 5 and industry standards.

Compliance permeates our work with process and automation design throughout all project phases, through the testing and verifying all the way to the quality ensured delivery of the plants.
